In Word Scores, players confront a cascading challenge as blocks of letters descend from above. The goal is simple: form valid words quickly to clear blocks and prevent the board from overflowing. With a minimum word length of four letters and a maximum of 15, the pressure builds as you race against time to beat your high score. Proper nouns and a lexicon of about 70,000 valid words await your ingenuity.

Expanding the Challenge with Word Formation

At the start of each game, players kick things off with the initial blocks spelling "W", "O", "R", "D". This clever setup sets the stage for strategic thinking and planning. The game begins with a mere four-column board, which grows as players create words spanning the entire width. Each time you expand the board, new possibilities emerge, allowing for 2 or 3 blocks to drop instead of just one.
