What We Leave Behind

Generational survival

What We Leave Behind is a hardcore survival game set in the Alaskan wilderness, where you play a succession of people trying to survive at the same refuge. Each person has their own skills, but those skills die with them. The next survivor inherits the physical things left behind, not the experience of the person who built them.

Keeping warm

You balance warmth, water, food, rest and health while maintaining the cabin. Gather wood and tend the fire, but remember that melting snow uses fuel and the room cools while you sleep. Hunt and forage, then cook, smoke, dry or ferment food, each with its own costs and risks.
