A Chaotic Journey in Volkstein

In Volkstein, players find themselves in a chaotic fantasy world where an ancient being, Ouvbane, spreads discord after escaping limbo. His funny yet malevolent antics transform the landscape, think cyclopes as man-eating monsters and barons turned into werewolves. Capturing the essence of a bizarre fairy tale, this indie title invites players to follow a reluctant hero, Cauflin, on his quest to reclaim his wife from Ouvbane's clutches.

The Reluctant Hero with a Pen

Cauflin isn’t your typical hero. A wannabe writer caught in the turmoil of his wife’s abduction, he faces challenges far beyond his literary aspirations. As the one left behind, his wife was the breadwinner, Cauflin's initial motivation is personal. Saving her isn’t just about love; it’s about avoiding a mundane life without her support. With limited combat skills, he navigates a landscape filled with zany monsters and unexpected allies.
