Usogui:Contradiction Game is a first-person, turn-based strategy game about secret auctions and battles of wits, inspired by the life-or-death gambles in the Liar Game manga. You bid for items, then use them to reduce your opponent’s life to zero while keeping yourself alive. You can see what your opponent has, but not what they plan to do.

Auctions and resources

Each auction puts three items up for grabs. You and your opponent secretly commit coins to bids, then ring a bell to reveal them. The higher bidder takes the item, but both players lose the coins they committed, win or lose. Spending heavily on a weapon can leave you short of coins for later auctions; holding back can mean your opponent gets the item you wanted.
