Umihara Kawase Fresh!

New Adventures in Umihara Kawase Fresh!

Umihara Kawase Fresh! revives the beloved series with fresh mechanics and an expansive open world, inviting players into a unique action-adventure experience. This title, originating 26 years ago, introduces players to the innovative concept of "rubbering action." Set in the vibrant world of "Micheliner," it expands on the series' legacy by blending traditional platforming with exploratory elements and engaging quests.

Rubbering Action: A Distinctive Gameplay Mechanic

The heart of Umihara Kawase Fresh! lies in its innovative rubbering action. Players use a rubber fishing line, capable of gripping surfaces and swinging them towards destinations. This core mechanic lends itself to creative in-game maneuvers such as pendulum movements to navigate levels. It’s a gameplay style that not only tests skills but encourages players to think outside of the box as they tackle diverse terrains and challenges.
