Umbraclaw - Xbox One & Series

Retracing the Steps of Kuon in Umbraclaw

In Umbraclaw, players navigate the harrowing journey of Kuon, a house cat forced to confront her own mortality in a whimsical yet perilous underworld. After her untimely death, Kuon awakens in the Soulplane, a dimension bursting with danger and the supernatural. Your task is to guide her through this haunting realm and find a way to open the "Boundary" back to her beloved owner.

Cat's Life and Death: The "Anima Revive" Mechanic

A main feature of Kuon's adventure is the Anima Revive ability, which allows her to resurrect after a fatal blow. Each revival grants her a new skill derived from the soul of another creature, equipping Kuon with the tools needed to tackle the increasingly difficult challenges ahead. Though she starts as a mere mortal cat, she has the potential to evolve into a humanoid form, increasing her capabilities even further. Yet, this mechanic comes with a catch; she has only nine lives to spare.
