The Legendary Sortsmith

Sorting the forge

The Legendary Sortsmith is a PC sorting game about clearing Grandmaster Bramblewick Anvilbeard’s crowded weapons workshop. You’re his apprentice: pick up each weapon, work out what it is, then put it on the rack where it belongs. The workshop is buried under legendary weapons, and the task is to sort more than 4,000 pieces.

Weapons and categories

The weapons draw on myth, fantasy and games, and fall into 15 categories. These include swords, greatswords, katanas, axes, hammers, spears, daggers, scythes, flails, shields, staves and lockblades, along with items that are hard to name. Some are cursed or enchanted, so identifying what you’ve picked up is more than a matter of matching its shape to a rack.
