The Last Interview: Into the Furnace is a PC decision-making game set in 2050, where robots fill social roles but some are deemed too costly to repair or recycle. You work as a human interviewer at the Bureau of Robot Affairs, deciding whether each robot can return to society or must be sent to a furnace.

Case files and verdicts

Each robot arrives with a file covering its service record, hardware condition, diagnostic notes, qualifications and the person or thing waiting at the gate. You read the file and question the robot, then choose the right-hand door for release or the left-hand door for the furnace. The records give you facts, but they don't settle what the right decision is.
