The Island: Exterminatus

The Setting of The Island: Exterminatus

Step into the gritty world of The Island: Exterminatus, a game that pays homage to the classic beat 'em up titles of the 80s. Set in the vibrant city of Belém, Brazil, the story unfolds against a politically charged backdrop. The game takes place just before COP 30, where environmental tensions and criminal schemes intersect, creating a theater of chaos for our protagonist, Azax, to navigate.

Revenge as a Driving Force

At the heart of the narrative lies Azax's quest for vengeance against the very NGO he once supported. Betrayed and fueled by anger, he takes on an organization that threatens his ideals and the environment. This personal vendetta drives the action, inviting players to engage in a series of escalating confrontations as they dismantle the faction's leadership through calculated violence and strategy.
