A rhythm game in hell

The Devil Upstairs is a single-player rhythm incremental game for PC about an imp in an apartment building in hell. Humans stomp around on the floor above, keeping the imp awake, so it turns on an amp and makes noise for the neighbors below. You play short runs, tap to the beat, earn Rage and buy permanent upgrades for the next attempt.

Stomps and Overdrive

Press F and J as lightning markers reach the amplifiers. Patterns use left and right inputs, sometimes asking for both at once. Keep your combo going, land critical stomps and charge Overdrive, then press Space to unleash a burst. The controls stay focused on those two keys and the Overdrive button, while rhythm patterns change as you descend.
