The Backrooms - PS4 & PS5

Terrence's Nightmarish Descent into The Backrooms

In The Backrooms for PS4 and PS5, players follow Terrence, an unsuspecting office worker thrust into a surreal and terrifying realm. After a seemingly mundane day, his journey takes a turn for the worst when he tumbles into this liminal horror space. Over seven harrowing days, players confront the challenge of guiding Terrence through unexplainable twists and eerie encounters. Can he find a way out, or will he be stuck in this haunting environment indefinitely?

Unraveling the Liminal Horror Phenomenon

Set within a vast and uncanny expanse, The Backrooms immerses players in an unsettling atmosphere. It's a space that feels familiar yet profoundly disconnected from reality. As Terrence explores, players find dilapidated rooms and infinite hallways filled with strange sounds and unsettling visuals. The game relies on psychological tension rather than gore, making every corner turned an opportunity for dread. This is a horror experience where the fear of the unknown is as compelling as what lurks in the shadows.
