Trading in a star sector

Star Trader is a PC trading simulation set in a deep-space economy spanning six sectors and 33 worlds. You buy goods where they’re cheap and carry them to worlds short on supply, watching prices change with supply and demand each turn. The economy is deterministic: a scenario code reproduces the same world, so runs play out from the same starting conditions.

You can follow the “best destination” listings for 37 goods, scan the sector for hundreds of arbitrage routes, or choose your own trades. Shortages can also be part of your strategy: restrict supply with an economic blockade, then sell into the price spike.
