Soulblight

Step Into the Shadows of Soulblight

Soulblight invites players into a dark and twisted realm, where choices bear heavy consequences. This top-down action roguelike challenges your moral compass as you navigate the shattered reality of the Sanctuary. Deep within this sprawling dungeon, peril lurks around every corner, waiting to ensnare those who venture too far into its depths. Above all, anticipate the trade-off between power and reputation, only the bravest will survive its sinister allure.

Tainting Mechanic: A Unique Approach to Role-Playing

At the heart of Soulblight lies an intricate Tainting Mechanic that alters your character's abilities based on their personality traits. Instead of accumulating traditional XP, your journey through the Sanctuary grants you Taints, traits that signify moral choices. For instance, embracing the life of an alcoholic provides benefits while imposing adverse repercussions when sobriety is required. Each choice forces players to grapple with themes of morality, reflecting a deeper engagement with their character's journey.
