Somber Echoes

A Journey Through the Atromitos

Somber Echoes takes players on a gripping journey through the remnants of the majestic Greco-Roman space vessel, Atromitos, transformed into a haunting landscape teeming with horrors from another dimension. As the story unfolds, players assume the role of Adrestia, tasked with stopping her twin sister Harmonia before she can unravel the very fabric of the universe. This Metroidvania experience invites exploration and discovery within an environment rich in narrative and lore.

Aether Lanterns and Gravity-Defying Mechanics

Adrestia's traversal abilities are powered by the Aether Lanterns, which serve as key mechanics throughout the game. These lanterns allow players to defy gravity, with the unique ability to transform into a brilliant, sun-like star. This transformation opens up new paths and challenges while enhancing combat within the game. With additional lanterns to chain dashes mid-air, players gain fluid movement options, empowering them to navigate complex environments with acrobatic grace.
