Poker with a magic hand

Sidehand is a poker roguelite for PC where winning pots damages your opponent, while folded cards become magic you can play onto the table. You’re dealt three hole cards and discard one before the flop. Every card you fold, including cards from hands you fold later, joins your Sidehand.

Sidehand cards can change the poker hand or affect your health. Drop a 4 on a 9 to turn it into a King, power up your next hit, or make a card wild. A heart can heal you, and changing a community card’s suit can break an opponent’s flush. Folding is how you gather these moves, so you’re choosing between staying in the hand and adding to your magic options.
