Shellshock

Tread Carefully Through War-Torn Trenches in Shellshock

In Shellshock, players find themselves trapped in the chaotic world of World War I as a British soldier navigating endlessly looping trenches. This psychological horror experience challenges players to identify subtle anomalies and report them, all while maintaining their sanity in an unsettling environment. The tension builds as players inspect their surroundings, where nothing is as it seems, and every decision impacts their ability to escape.

Anomaly Detection: The Core Gameplay Loop

The unique gameplay mechanics of Shellshock revolve around spotting changes as players traverse from trench to trench. Each loop offers new opportunities for observation, but with the catch that some loops may contain no anomalies at all. Quick, careful decision-making is essential; if a player wrongly identifies a change, they are sent back to the beginning, fostering a sense of dread with each incorrect choice.
