Sheepo - Switch

Sheepo: A Quirky Metroidvania Adventure on Switch

In Sheepo, players take control of a whimsical shape-shifting creature, a blend of sheep and something else entirely. Set against the backdrop of an uncharted planet, your mission is to collect the unhatched eggs of various species. Each egg not only expands your intergalactic species database but also grants Sheepo the ability to transform into that creature, opening up new areas of the lush environment to explore on the Switch.

Transforming Gameplay Mechanics in Sheepo

What sets Sheepo apart from traditional metroidvania titles is its non-combat focused gameplay. Instead of battling foes, players must navigate challenging platforming sections and discover the secrets of the planet. Each time you successfully collect an egg from a species’ queen, essentially a boss. You gain new traversal abilities. With these transformations, Sheepo can dig through the landscape, fly over obstacles, and even teleport to once-inaccessible areas, enhancing the exploration aspect.
