Second Nature: Night Authority

Game premise and setting

Second Nature: Night Authority is a single-player, first-person, open-world vampire action game. In it, you play as a former human blood sorcerer who has been transformed into a hybrid of vampire and sorcerer after a failed ritual. You are bound to the Night Authority, a secret organization that controls vampire society from the shadows. The game tasks you with completing various assignments while navigating your new life in a hidden vampire society.

Night work and character progression

Each night begins at one of your hideouts, where you can check your assignments and prepare for the tasks ahead. The Night Authority offers a range of work, from simple jobs to more dangerous missions involving targets, hunters, and other threats from the human world. Completing these assignments earns you money and Rank Points, which you can use to strengthen your character and unlock new capabilities. Your position in the Authority improves as you gain experience, climbing through 65 ranks that provide access to stronger abilities and more complex challenges.
