Rising Storm - Digital Deluxe Upgrade is a PC World War II multiplayer shooter covering battles in Europe and the Pacific. You fight as part of either the Allied or Axis forces across maps built around specific battles. The edition includes Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad multiplayer content and the Heroes of the West community mod, which brings the fighting to the Western Front.

Maps and factions

The included content spans several fronts. In Normandy, British forces fight to break out from the beachhead at Caen Outskirts, while Hill 400 depicts the 2nd Ranger Battalion fighting Axis forces in the Hurtgen Forest. Other maps include Demyansk, jungle airstrips in Burma, and Nhpum Ga, where Merrill’s Marauders fought in April 1944. The maps cover US and Japanese, British and German, and Russian and German battles.
