A captain in a living galaxy

Rimfarers is a turn-based space RPG for PC, with a small ship and a galaxy where traders, pirates and nations pursue their own business. You can start as a trader, mercenary, pirate or explorer, then choose how to make your way among the planets.

The economy responds to events: planets produce and consume goods, while stock, harvests, plagues and battles affect prices. Buy from miners and sell in a capital, or take other work. Five races, Terrans, Aelites, Kzarr, Gromms and Virren, have their own laws, tastes, ships and temperaments. Their colonies share star systems, and their nations make treaties, go to war and seize planets. Helping one side affects how its enemies treat you; landing on an enemy world can put you in prison.
