Queerskins: a love story

Discover the Emotional Depth of Queerskins: a love story

Queerskins: a love story is a poignant interactive virtual reality experience designed for PC, and it challenges players to confront deep emotional narratives. Set against the backdrop of rural Missouri, this Peabody Award-winning title places players in the back seat of a vintage 1986 Cadillac alongside Sebastian’s parents, Ed and Mary-Helen. As their journey unfolds, players witness family dynamics and uncover Sebastian's life through intimate interactions.

A Journey Through the Back Seat Perspective

As you settle into the Cadillac’s back seat, the environment feels constrictive, evoking memories of childhood. Here, you are a passive observer but not without agency. By reaching into a box filled with Sebastian’s personal belongings, you can unlock pieces of his story. Each object, whether it’s a diary or a memento, plays a crucial role in piecing together who Sebastian was, confronting the conflicting beliefs of his father and mother about his legacy.
