Prime

A New Take on Strategy with Prime

Prime offers a fresh twist on classic abstract strategy games, drawing inspiration from chess and checkers. Played on a traditional 64-square board, this game pits two opponents, whites and blacks, against one another in a battle of wits. Combining familiar mechanics with innovative rules, it reshapes how players think about movement and capturing pieces.

Innovative Piece Movements Change the Game

In Prime, each piece holds a value influencing its movement and abilities. The basic pawns move forward one square, while even-numbered pieces can shift sideways, and odd-numbered pieces offer more diagonal flair. The real strategy kicks in with prime-numbered pieces, which can move in all directions, mimicking the power of the queen in chess. Players must strategize their moves carefully, anticipating how opponents will react.
