A stone-age Metroidvania

Prehistoric Lax is a 2.5D Metroidvania action-adventure for PC, set in a cartoon Stone Age. You play as Lax, running, jumping and swinging a club through an interconnected world of branching paths, hidden areas and prehistoric creatures.

Puzzles and exploration

The game adds point-and-click adventure actions to its platforming: you can pick up items, use them on objects, pull things and talk to inhabitants. Physics puzzles use levers and contraptions, while portals and mechanisms open routes through the world. An exploration map tracks where you’ve been and hints at areas you haven’t found.
