Petrified Pawns

Challenge the Norms of Chess with Petrified Pawns

Petrified Pawns redefines the chess genre on PC. Departing from traditional chess rules, this game introduces mechanics where pieces don’t instantly take each other out. Instead, each unit has a health bar, allowing for a more forgiving experience. Mistakes can be rectified, which invites both casual players and chess veterans to rethink their strategies. Healing and revitalizing your troops is as pivotal as offensive strategies.

Engage in Strategic Turn-Based Battles

Moving the pieces is just the beginning. Players control the deployment of units on the board, but combat is automated, leading to thrilling turn-based encounters. The AI will attack enemies automatically, freeing players to focus on positioning and tactical maneuvers. The elements of chance and choice intermingle, where decision-making becomes key to survival and success.
