Game premise and objective

Peggle Extreme is a puzzle game that combines elements of pinball and pachinko. The premise involves defending the Peggle Institute from a variety of other-worldly creatures. Players assume the role of a Peggle Master and are tasked with clearing all the orange pegs from the screen by shooting a metallic silver ball from the top. The game utilizes gravity and ricocheting mechanics, as players aim to strategically hit pegs while managing a limited number of shots.

Gameplay mechanics

Players fire the ball to knock out orange and blue pegs, with the aim of clearing all orange pegs before running out of balls. A moving bucket at the bottom of the screen offers additional free balls, giving players an opportunity to extend their turns. Pegs come in two varieties: orange pegs must be cleared to win, while blue pegs do not affect the objective but contribute to the overall gameplay.
