Pawnage

Chess and 1v1 duels

Pawnage is a chess-fighting game for PC, with 1v1 PvP in local couch mode or via Steam. Each capture sends both pieces into a 3D arena, where they fight in real time.

Arena combat

In each duel, you attack with melee, cast spells and grab powerups. The capture isn’t settled until one piece survives: only the survivor takes the square.
