Online hide-and-seek

OUTLIER is an online hide-and-seek game for 2 to 16 players on PC, set in an unmapped zone of the Backrooms. You play as a crew member in a hazmat suit, mixed in with staff wearing identical suits. Move and stop when the crowd does, and sit when they sit. The goal is to relieve your character’s symptoms without drawing the Overseer’s attention.

Symptoms and suspicion

Symptoms build until you let them out. You can dance, moonwalk, fart, crawl or beatbox, among other actions, but you need to do it where no one is looking. If you wait too long, the symptoms take over in front of the crowd.
