Layered Progression in a Casual Setting

At the core of Our Ascent lies a distinctive progression system that combines casual play with deep mechanics. The traditional RPG gameplay (leveling up, upgrading stats, and acquiring equipment) gets a twist with its roguelite approach. After a limited number of encounters, your run concludes, resulting in a reset of levels and stats. However, players retain their hard-earned equipment and buffs, allowing them to venture further in subsequent playthroughs.
