Old Salt

Sail the High Seas in Old Salt

In Old Salt, players command one of six factions, each starting with control over three islands, a fleet of ships, and a small stash of gold. Victory comes from seizing control of six islands or being the last player with an operational ship. Engage in naval combat, tactical maneuvers, and seize islands through a blend of strategic planning and faction abilities, all set against a backdrop reminiscent of classic pirate tales.

Navigate and Maneuver Your Fleet

Movement is essential in Old Salt, allowing players to control up to three ships on their turn. Each ship can travel a maximum of three tiles, granting players flexibility in positioning. Utilizing Known Tradewinds expands this range, offering strategic advantages. Imagine the chaotic navigation scenes from films like Pirates of the Caribbean, where ships execute daring maneuvers. Successfully outsmarting your opponents is key to gaining the upper hand.
