Note Defender: A Sight Reading Arcade is a PC arcade game about identifying notes in music notation while fighting waves of incoming squares. You answer with a note name from A through G; correct answers attack the squares.

Staff and difficulty

Levels get harder as you progress. Ledger-line notes appear above and below the staffs, covering notes up to nine ledger lines from them. Later, either the treble or bass staff disappears, so you have to identify notes with only one staff visible. The note range covers every key on a standard 88-key piano and most instruments.
