Midnight Brag: Before Poker

Three-card Brag

Midnight Brag: Before Poker is a three-card Brag game set across five late-night clubs. You learn the British bluffing game, earn a seat at each club’s table, and face its boss, who has never lost there. Brag shares poker’s hand rankings, but uses three cards; the best hand is a three of a kind, called a prial.

Stakes and bluffing

Each hand turns on whether you look at your cards or play blind. Blind play has a cheaper stake, while playing seen means you’ve looked at your hand. Stakes rise each round, and you can raise to double them immediately or wait as they climb. If you can’t match the stake, Last Stake keeps your chips in the hand and settles the pot fairly.
