Max, an Autistic Journey invites players into a retro-style turn-based RPG that combines engaging gameplay with a profound exploration of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Developed by Stéphane Cantin, this game is a personal project inspired by his son, Max, capturing the daily challenges and triumphs faced by those on the spectrum. Players will navigate through familiar yet often alien environments, encountering both imaginative monsters and heartfelt narratives.

Unique Perspective on Autism

Stepping into the shoes of Max, a ten-year-old boy, players explore his world shaped by autism. Each encounter serves as a metaphor for his emotional struggles. While the game features fantastical beasts, the feelings they evoke (fear, anxiety, and hope) are starkly real.
