A ferryman on the river

Majhi is a short, mouse-controlled narrative game for PC. You play a nameless ferryman, rowing along a river and carrying the dead across. At Nirmala’s riverside inn, the village is celebrating the annual Nabanna festival when Saha, a moneylender, collapses after drinking khejurer rosh. Panic and fire follow. Once the flames die down, eight people are waiting at the river’s edge.

Accounts and clues

Row farther along the river to reach each spirit, then click to hear their account of the night. Each remembers something different. Conversations leave clues in a journal you can open at any time, so you can compare accounts and look for contradictions.
