Maggot

Maggot: A Unique Desktop Ecosystem

Observe the Maggot as it transforms your PC into a peculiar realm of decay. This pixel-art simulation runs in a small, draggable window, creating a living, breathing ecosystem from a randomly generated piece of rotten meat. As you work or browse, the game silently evolves with flies, maggots, and the cycle of life and death, right at the corner of your screen.

Crafting a Desktop Infestation

Each time you launch Maggot, a new, uniquely shaped piece of meat appears, serving as the foundation for your grotesque ecosystem. Flies lay eggs, while maggots crawl and breed, embodying the intricacies of nature. This randomness keeps the experience fresh, ensuring that no two sessions are alike. Watch them gather in clusters, interact with one another, or simply vanish when conditions change, prompting surprises in every iteration.
