Jiaobei: Ask the Divine

Discover the Ancient Art of Jiaobei: Ask the Divine

Jiaobei: Ask the Divine invites players into a rich tradition of Chinese divination, using the movements of crescent-shaped wooden pieces to seek wisdom from deities. Set on PC, this unique simulation captures the essence of a practice where focus and intention shape the outcome, allowing users to engage with age-old spiritual beliefs. Players will find themselves entranced as they navigate the intricate mechanics of casting Jiaobei.

Engaging with Spiritual Divination Mechanics

The core of Jiaobei lies in its distinctive mechanics, where players throw two crescent-shaped pieces, each with a flat (yang) side and a rounded (yin) side, onto the ground. The result determines the answer to a posed question, which fits neatly into three outcomes: the “Sacred Cup,” the “Laughing Cup,” and the “Yin Cup.” Each result provides insight into the deity's response, creating a deeply interactive and contemplative gameplay experience.
