It's You: A Breakup Story

It’s You: A Breakup Story Overview

It's You: A Breakup Story is a narrative-driven game that explores the often fraught dynamics of relationships through the lens of a breakup. Set against the backdrop of a late-night call from an unsatisfied boyfriend, players join Carlee, an overworked nurse, as she navigates her tumultuous thoughts and feelings. The game unfolds in a compact format where your choices directly influence the conversation, making for an engaging but brief gaming experience.

Unique Narrative Mechanics Engage Players

In this title, conversations are the core mechanic. Players toggle between different responses, revealing nuances in Carlee's and Josh's relationship as each dialogue option shapes the narrative. With only one possible ending, the player's journey matters more than the destination itself. This sticks close to the visual novel genre, blending choices with personal development that resonates emotionally with players.
