In Your Hands

Game premise and mechanics

In Your Hands is a psychological horror sound novel for PC. The premise revolves around a child who awakens in a desolate hall filled with adults lying face down, reminiscent of corpses. The child has no memory of themselves or how they arrived at this place, and is prompted by a crackling speaker to follow orders. Players engage in point-and-click mechanics to examine the environment, interact with objects, and uncover memories, all while navigating through the storyline.

Visual style

The game uses a paper-cutout storybook style combined with soft cel-shaded watercolor for its graphics. This art style shifts depending on the player's interactions; the more exploratory elements feature the cutout style, while watching scenes unfold utilizes the watercolor technique for deeper immersion.
