1ABOUT THIS GAME
Welcome to the World of IdleZomb
In IdleZomb, a PC-based management game, players engage with a world where zombies serve as both your workforce and experiments. Unlike traditional management games, you have no villagers to protect. Here, it's about creation, sacrifice, and evolution as you strive to develop a new species from the remnants of the old world. Take control of an abandoned hospital, the birthplace of your undead minions, and master the art of rebuilding from chaos.
Start Small: The Journey Begins With One Zombie
Your adventure kicks off with a single randomly generated zombie. This initial character comes with its own stats, affecting both its value and survival chances. You'll immediately set to work harvesting resources, producing items, or strategizing how to sacrifice it for valuable DNA strands. Every decision in the early stages can shape your strategy and influence the evolution of your undead population.
Build Your Base: Hospital as a Strategic Hub
The hospital serves as the beating heart of your operations. Here, zombies are born, and they contribute to resource management while facilitating your growth. Nearby, a dilapidated lab houses a mysterious figure who can harvest DNA from your undead. This interaction adds a layer of intrigue: can he be trusted, or does he harbor ulterior motives? Managing resources and making ethical decisions adds to the depth of gameplay.
Evolving Undead: Leveling Mechanics
Currently, zombies can evolve up to level 125, with content available up to level 40. Each evolution requires DNA and enhances your zombies' stats. Notably, at level 20, zombies gain a new sprite and boosted multiplier status, altering their presence in the game world. Upcoming features promise to expand the leveling system and introduce unexpected gameplay elements that will enrich the overall experience.
Facing Foes: The Challenge of Survival
In IdleZomb, your zombies don't just work—they face threats. Initially, they'll battle harmless chickens, making them a somewhat easy target. However, as you progress, tougher foes like mutant rats will come into play. Future updates hint at even more formidable creatures, amplifying the challenge and the stakes. This progression maintains interest and pushes players to continually adapt their strategies.
Early Access: Be Part of the Development
Being an Early Access title, IdleZomb is still evolving. This beta version is just the first taste of what’s to come, with ongoing development promising more content, diverse gameplay loops, and fresh building types. Your feedback is crucial in shaping this game, as the developers refine existing systems and incorporate new gameplay elements, ensuring that players have a voice in the shaping of their zombie-filled world.
An Experimental State: Expect Changes Ahead
It’s important to note that the current build of IdleZomb is experimental. Many features are still in development, and sound effects are currently absent. Some in-game elements, like the tutorial, may display bugs. As you navigate through the game, remain aware of these limitations. Your patience will be rewarded as the game grows richer and more complex over time.
