A Kingdom in Turmoil: The World of Gothic

Gothic plunges players into a chaotic world where the kingdom of Myrtana faces an overwhelming threat from orcish hordes. With war on the horizon, the king’s desperate need for ore leads to the creation of a massive penal colony in Khorinis. Here, lawbreakers are trapped within a magical barrier, left to mine for resources while the kingdom fights for its very survival.

Confinement and Rebellion: Life in the Colony

Inside the confines of this action RPG, the narrative unfolds as prisoners adapt to their grim surroundings. The massive barrier isolates the colony from the outside world, creating an environment where escape seems impossible. However, despair fuels a fierce rebellion among the inmates. Divided into three rival factions, the once-subjugated prisoners vie for power and control within their rocky home, forcing the king to negotiate rather than demand compliance.
