Glow Trap is a bug-collecting game for PC, set around a workbench where moths and fireflies visit lantern light. You drag a lantern across the bench to draw them in, then click a visitor to inspect its species, rarity and value. Choose “Capture specimen” to add it to your field case; discovering a new species also adds it as a museum exhibit.

Lights, lures and conditions

You arrange lights and lures to meet each species’ requirements. Some visitors want a stronger lure, a dish placed inside a matching light, or a lure left in shadow. Others avoid certain equipment, and Mythic species require the right moon phase. A suitable setup only makes a species possible, not guaranteed. At dawn, field notes identify a missing condition or confirm that your setup was perfect even if no visitor arrived.
