Surfing on your own terms

FreeSurf is a PC surfing game with solo play and online multiplayer for up to eight players. There’s no campaign, mission sequence, or set of objectives. You choose a surf spot, paddle out, wait for a wave, then build speed, carve, perform tricks, work different sections, or ride a barrel. When the wave ends, you paddle back to the lineup and pick another.

Online sessions

You can surf with friends without competing, forming teams, or following an objective. Proximity voice chat lets nearby surfers talk in-game, with distance affecting communication. The game describes this as a virtual lineup where players spread out across a break and look for waves.
