ABOUT THIS GAME
Lua territory matches
Fetch() is a top-down territory game for PC where you write Lua scripts for a dog instead of controlling it directly. You give it commands such as MoveTo and Mark, then press go and watch it carry them out. Each tile the dogs mark changes to their team’s color, and the pack with the most ground when the clock runs out wins.
Writing and testing scripts
Rival dogs run scripts of their own. Some go for open ground, others keep to walls or stay near water, so you can watch their movements and adjust your script to counter them. The code editor suggests commands as you type, marks typos in red, and keeps a Lua handbook beside your script. You don’t need prior Lua knowledge to start.
