A New Take on Tower Defense: Eyeb

Eyeb stands out in the tower defense genre by offering players a refreshing blend of exploration and resource management. Developed by indie studio Giant Gourami, the game pushes boundaries beyond traditional action rogue-likes. Here, players gather materials and set up defenses while preparing for the inevitable confrontation with the formidable bosses. This unique twist transforms the experience into a strategic challenge rather than just a series of battles.

The World of Eyeb: A Unique Setting

The narrative takes place in a universe plagued by super-intelligent nano-bot clouds, representing humanity's deepest fears. Players inhabit the character of Abe Hall, a courageous hero who has uploaded his consciousness into his own eyeball. In a daring attempt to confront the malicious Nano-Lord, he must pilot his ship through an asteroid field, leading to exploration, scavenging, and technological acquisition. This backdrop intertwines well with the mechanics, prompting players to adapt on the fly.
