Eiroku: Path of the Wanderer is a PC simulation set in feudal Japan during the Sengoku era. You travel across a map of Japan, recruit troops and historical commanders, and choose whether to serve a feudal lord or establish a clan of your own.

Japan on one map

The map is painted in a traditional ink-wash style and includes 23 daimyo clans and 195 locations. Castles, towns, farming villages, ninja hamlets, and shrines appear on the same map, with seasons and times of day changing as you play.
