Effigy : The Descent

Unearth the Secrets in Effigy: The Descent

In Effigy: The Descent, players take on the role of an intrepid explorer navigating a cursed cave in search of ancient artifacts that promise a way out. This horror adventure game for PC challenges both your wits and nerves as you face statues that stalk you in the shadows. With the oppressive darkness closing in, your only ally is your trusty lantern, which you must wield wisely to survive.

Surviving the Stalking Statues

Two distinct types of statues haunt the depths of the cave: standard statues and their light-sensitive variants. These entities are relentless, advancing when you’re not watching, creating a chilling layer of paranoia. Managing your light source becomes crucial; shine your lantern wisely to halt the aggressive statues in their tracks. Momentarily blinded by the light, they provide brief but necessary opportunities to escape their grasp.
