Dull Grey - Xbox One

Journey Through a Retro-Futuristic World in Dull Grey

Dull Grey, available on Xbox One, is an award-winning visual novel that explores the complexities of growing up through the lens of a mother-son relationship. Set within a haunting landscape of foggy mountains and dull, grey pipes, the game interweaves themes of free will and the quest for happiness. As players navigate this world, they are faced with the same pivotal choice again and again, fundamentally shaping the protagonist's future.

Making Choices with Consequences: A Unique Gameplay Mechanic

At its core, Dull Grey employs an innovative mechanic where one choice significantly alters the narrative trajectory. Players must decide whether the son should become a lamplighter or a tallyman. The choice seems straightforward, but the game’s depth lies in the subtle layers of decision-making. Take time to reflect, and you might just discover that the road ahead is painted in more vivid colors than it initially appears.
