Dorke and Ymp

Discovering Dorke and Ymp's Unfinished Legacy

Dorke and Ymp is a long-lost puzzle adventure platformer that began its life as an unreleased Super Nintendo title in the early '90s. Developed by the Swedish company Norse, the project faced setbacks, including a lack of publisher support. However, thanks to a remarkable collaboration with the original team, the game has found new life on PC after an extensive overhaul and completion effort.

Completing a Forgotten Journey

The original code, roughly 50% finished, became the starting point for a refresh that took over a year to finalize. Players can expect a wealth of new content. The experience now features over 40 levels, providing around 10 hours of gameplay filled with challenging puzzles and platforming elements. This revival respects the heart of the original while introducing elements that enhance playability and design.
