Demented

What is Demented?

Demented thrusts players into a haunting narrative as they take on the role of Bennet Helms, who awakens in a disturbing and unfamiliar environment. With little recollection and a sense of dread, Bennet finds himself amid his questioning family while dark secrets unravel around him. The gripping story invites players to navigate through horror and mystery, ultimately leading to revelations about the sinister Visual Corporation.

The Intricacies of Sanity Control

In Demented, sanity is not merely a statistic. It’s a critical gameplay mechanic that governs how you perceive the world. The main character, Bennet, suffers from a brain tumor that affects his communication and perception. Players must manage their sanity levels, which can lead to hallucinations, decreased vision, and even the spawning of terrifying critters. The lower your sanity, the more dangerous the environment becomes, forcing players to be strategic and cautious in their decisions.
