DEDstress

The Wild World of DEDstress

In DEDstress, players are thrust into the bizarre surroundings of Blomvanspruit, South Africa. The narrative follows Daniel Vleisman, who suffers from Disconnected Electricity Disorder after enduring disruptive power outages. Awakening in the unsettling Slashbin Clinic, he must navigate confusion, evade threats, and deal with disembodied voices echoing in his mind. This unique indie thriller blends absurdity with adrenaline, designed by two brothers who created it following their previous game jam title, DIDstress.

A Comedic Take on Thrills

This high-intensity thriller manages to capture tension through a lens of comedy. Every moment ratchets up the urgency as Daniel attempts to maintain his sanity amidst chaos. The game leans into a sense of absurdity, inviting players to engage with the weirdness rather than shying away from it. With a narrative that encourages players to embrace confusion, conversations may not always make sense, but that’s just part of the charm.
