Decrepit

A castle escape

Decrepit is a first-person action game for PC about fighting your way out of a forsaken medieval castle. You climb from its dungeons through connected areas, facing undead, prisoners still wearing chains, and guards at their posts. There are no maps or quest markers, so progress depends on learning the castle and its inhabitants.

Death strips your gear and sends you back to the dungeons, in a different cell each time. You keep the knowledge from each attempt, and can loot equipment from slain enemies. Early routes can feel long, but learning the layout and opening shortcuts makes it possible to head more directly toward a boss that stopped you before.
